ABOUT SCHNOODLES

About Schnoodles: Meet the Team

Good dogs, good people and a lot of muddy clothes.

Schnoodles began with Dave's idea of doing doggy daycare differently, with dogs' health, happiness and wellbeing coming first. He wanted daycare to do more for dogs than simply keep them occupied while their owners were at work.

Founded in October 2014, we've grown into a small community of dogs, owners and staff who all know each other rather well. Today that means six acres of secure countryside, two cosy barns and four electric school buses.

OUR STORY

How It All Began

Dave wanted to build a daycare where dogs could get proper exercise, make lasting friendships and eat well, with plenty of time outdoors. More than a decade later, that hasn't changed.

We're still independent, and our team still know every dog as an individual. Some are natural troublemakers, some are professional cuddlers, and some spend the day following us around hoping for another treat.

THE PEOPLE BEHIND SCHNOODLES

Meet the Schnoodles Team

Dave Kemp

Founder

Dave started Schnoodles in 2014, combining his love of dogs with a serious interest in nutrition, exercise and long-term wellbeing. He's spent years researching what goes into dogs' food and how their daily routines can help them live healthier, happier lives.

He's also a dedicated fusser of dogs, a regular climbing frame, and occasionally has his beard sampled by an overenthusiastic Schnoodler.

Harriet

Harriet joined in February 2023 after eight years working in education. The dogs have a habit of following her around the field wherever she goes.

She also keeps things running smoothly behind the scenes and looks after our Instagram, sharing what the dogs have been up to.

Kieron

Kieron joined in July 2024 and was an instant hit with the dogs. Whether he's driving the Schnoodles school bus or racing around the field with a pack of followers, he's rarely short of company.

You'll often spot him on our Instagram, usually in the middle of the action.

Chloe

Chloe joined in June 2026 with almost four years of experience in boarding kennels. She's been dog-mad for years, and it didn't take the Schnoodles dogs long to notice. These days she's rarely without a queue of dogs waiting their turn for a fuss.

Wendy

Semi-Retired, Still Part of the Family

Wendy is enjoying a quieter life these days, but she hasn't quite escaped Schnoodles. As Dave's mum, she's been involved since the beginning and still steps in to cover emergency shifts. She's a familiar face to many of our longest-serving dogs.

A LITTLE MORE

A Little More Than Doggy Daycare

Schnoodles is licensed by Buckinghamshire Council, which has rated us five stars. What matters most to us is that the dogs enjoy being here, feel at ease with the team and go home tired and happy.

You can see what we get up to on Instagram, where we share plenty of photos and videos.
