Daycare and Collections
What days are you open?
Monday to Friday, excluding bank holidays and our planned annual closures.
What time will my dog be collected and returned?
Our electric school buses collect between 9:00am and 10:30am, and bring dogs home between 4:00pm and 5:30pm. Times can vary with traffic and the day's route.
Can I drop off and collect my dog myself?
No, our planning conditions mean we're collection-only. Home collection and return are included in your daycare price anyway.
Which areas do you cover?
We collect from Beaconsfield, Amersham, Chesham, Tring, Berkhamsted and Wendover. We also welcome enquiries from the Chalfonts and nearby villages across Buckinghamshire and Hertfordshire. Not sure if we cover you? Ask us.
Explore our collection areasCan I send more than one dog?
Yes, we can consider more dogs from the same household, subject to availability and each dog's suitability for daycare.
Joining Schnoodles
Do I need to book regular days?
Yes, a minimum of one fixed day a week. It helps dogs build friendships, get to know the team and settle into a routine.
Is there a waiting list?
Yes. Fill in our application form and we'll review your dog's details, preferred days and collection area.
How does the trial work?
Every new dog starts with a one-month trial. It gives them time to settle in and make friends, and lets us check they're happy with us.
Can puppies join Schnoodles?
Dogs must be at least six months old when they start, subject to their development, health, neutering requirements and suitability for group daycare.
Does my dog need to be trained?
Dogs should be well behaved, have good basic training and be comfortable around other dogs. We assess every dog individually to make sure they'll be happy and safe in the group.
Health and Wellbeing
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. We're fully insured and licensed by Buckinghamshire Council, which has rated us five stars. Our licence number is LC202305 – 121444.
Does my dog need to be neutered?
Male dogs must be neutered before they start. For female dogs, we can consider delays to neutering advised by a vet. Tell us your dog's circumstances when you apply.
What vaccinations does my dog need?
We require evidence of protection against canine distemper, infectious canine hepatitis and canine parvovirus.
We accept up-to-date vaccinations or valid titre testing. Leptospirosis and kennel cough vaccinations are recommended but aren't mandatory under our current policy.
Vaccination courses must be completed at least four weeks before starting, unless the manufacturer's instructions specify otherwise.
Do you feed the dogs during daycare?
We don't serve lunch, as we keep mealtimes separate from exercise. We do give carefully chosen treats, with alternatives for dogs with food intolerances. Fresh water is always available.
How can I see what my dog gets up to?
We share daily updates on Instagram, including video Stories, Reels and photos, so you can see what the dogs have been getting up to.
Payments and Practicalities
How much does daycare cost?
Our daily rates, including VAT, depend on how often your dog attends:
- 1–2 days per week: £44.40 per day
- 3–4 days per week: £40.80 per day
- 5 days per week: £36.00 per day
Home collection and return are included.
See our daycare pricesWhat happens if my dog is ill or we're on holiday?
Your regular days reserve your dog's place, so monthly payments continue during holidays and illness. Our planned closures and bank holidays are already accounted for when we calculate your monthly fee.
What happens in extreme weather?
Your dog's safety comes first. We may bring dogs home early in very hot weather or close if snow or unsafe roads make transport too dangerous. We'll contact you directly if plans change.
Still Have a Question?
